We are located just off Route 14 in Crystal Lake, IL., just south of Route 176 on Woodstock Street. The church is only 1/3rd mile east on Woodstock Street on the right hand side.
To assist you we have included a few photos of our building and sanctuary to help you know what to look for.
The building is fully wheelchair-accessible via an elevator, curb ramps, and interior ramps. The ushers or members will be glad to assist you.
What to expect when you get here.
From September through May, we have two regular worship services (8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.) with a wide variety of Sunday School classes for all ages. The 8:30 a.m. service is a more contemporary-style service while the 10:00 a.m. service has a more traditional style. During the summer months, we have one worship service at 9:30 a.m.
As the services start we have greeters at the entrance to the sanctuary and ushers to give you a bulletin and to help you find a seat. The ushers will also be able to help you with large print bulletins, or if you need assistance getting in.
There is plenty of seating available in the sanctuary, either on the main floor or up in the balcony. Sit wherever you like, there aren't any reserved seats. (Though occasionally the ushers will rope off a pew or two when necessary.)
Our worship services are easy to follow by using the bulletin and they last about an hour. The volunteer worship leaders and our pastor will give any directions needed during the service.
Guests are never singled out or embarrassed. We won't ask you to stand or wear a name tag or anything like that. If you choose, you may fill out a visitor card from the pew rack to let us know you came.
You are welcome to come down to Fellowship Hall for coffee, juice and a variety of breakfast treats after the service. It's a great opportunity to meet some of the members and other visitors.
